ABOUT OUR FOX RUN COMMUNITY
We are a community that is age restricted (55 plus), resident owned (you own your own property), and deed restricted (having restrictions and bylaws governed by Florida Statute 720). Homeowners are obligated to abide by our covenants. You may review these restrictions and bylaws on our website (top left: Welcome - Buyers, Sellers, Realtors - Governing Documents). Once you become a homeowner(s) in Fox Run, you will be a member of the Fox Run Homeowners’ Association (HOA).

 

We have a homeowner elected Board of Directors who oversee the day-to-day business of our community with the help of many member volunteers. When becoming a part of our community, we welcome homeowner(s) to volunteer with a group that appeals to your interest. Members are encouraged to become involved, beginning with attending our monthly meetings (3rd Monday each month) and our December Annual Members Meeting.

 

We have a secure, friendly, updated website. Our news bulletins (Fox Tales) may be accessed on our webpage or a hard copy is available. Our community has enhanced the safety and security of members by utilizing security cameras in designated locations. This aids law enforcement while respecting the privacy of our homeowners. 

 

                      Homeowner(s) Obligation - Association  Assessment Fees: Monthly $ 60.00
This covers our maintenance and insurance of the clubhouse, two pools, two ponds, boardwalk, marina, our park, and all other common grounds within our boundaries. Homeowner(s) are financially responsible for their lawn care and utilities (water & sewage, electric, cable).

 

Our community offers many activities for our homeowners. Our Social Committee meets once a month and schedules a number of activities that are held at our clubhouse. A few of these activities are potlucks, dances, entertainers, game night, boat club, movie night, arts and crafts, line dancing, bingo, Bible study, mahjong, and card games (poker, euchre, bridge, hand and foot, pinochle). In addition, we have Ladies Day Out, golf meets, shuffleboard, Thirsty Thursday, and much more.

 

The clubhouse has a large meeting area with a stage, well-equipped kitchen, craft room, fitness center, billiard room, card room, and a very active library. We have two pools, one of which is heated. Pool hours of operation vary according to the outside temperature. The shuffleboard courts are located by the clubhouse pool and have many active players. 

 

Behind the clubhouse is a storage area for RV’s, boat trailers, etc. There is a waiting list to obtain a space. These spaces are rented for an additional fee.

We have a marina with a charming park, picnic grounds, and a resident bathroom. From the marina there is a canal giving our residents access to Lake Harris, which in turn connects to the Central Florida Chain of Lakes. Along this canal is a beautiful nature boardwalk that is open to all homeowners. There is an additional dock rental fee for your watercraft if space is available.
