At approximately 6:45 am Sunday morning (7/5/09) on Manatee Road one of our residents walk was cut short, due to the appearance of a large black bear. It came from the pasture side of the road and crossed over between two homes. Our resident then proceeded to return home on Manatee to let her husband know of her “adventure”.
